Opt-Out: We Offer an Opt-Out Option

heart image

Privacy is a serious matter for you, just as it is for us. We want to assure you that privacy is built into the core of our product. Some of our guiding principles:
• Anybody can opt out.
• All transmissions follow industry standard encryption techniques.
• Nothing that identifies personal information can or will ever be collected.

It's important to remember that analytics aren't interesting when analyzed individually. Analysts need to see holistic sums and averages in order to make better decisions. All data is just grouped in large buckets of information that have no means of ever being related to an individual device.

Between this and the fact that we haven't collected any sensitive information in the first place means that you and your identity remain completely anonymous.

Opting-out removes your MAC Address from our system (A mac address is a series of letters and numbers that is assigned to network-enabled devices). For all intents and purposes, you are invisible to our system and any data related to the MAC Address will be overlooked.

We leverage servers and databases hosted by Amazon Web Services (learn more about AWS Security). Any data we process is transmitted over encrypted SSL channels then post-processed and stored on AWS hosted servers.

AWS has achieved ISO 27001 certification and has been validated as a Level 1 service provider under the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS).

When you sign up for GeoMetri, we ask for your name and email address. That's just so we can personalize your account, send you invoices if necessary, pass along updates to our services, or advise you of other essential information. We'll never sell your personal info to third parties, and we won't use your company name without your permission.
